- Name: vertical call
*For indiviual Bios click on www.verticalcall.com. The beginning of Vertical Call first dates back somewhere to late 2002. Originally based out of Sacramento, CA, the band was comprised of two members, Drew Walsh and Brian Nolan, and mainly played worship songs they wrote. After a few months, other members joined, and they began playing shows. Soon, they had enough songs to record. “Tales of a Broken Heart,” their first full-length album, was later released, featuring ten original songs. The album got a good reaction, and the band sold out of CDs in almost the first 3 months they were on sale. Shortly after, however, Drew finished school and had to leave for college in Los Angeles. Due to the distance apart, they decided it was best that the band go their separate ways and do their own thing. Confident that a new band would form at college, Azusa Pacific University, he left to study music, excited for what was in store. A month later, he met Jason Stephenson, who quickly helped him form a band consisting of all music majors. In about three months, Vertical Call was comprised of five band members: (visit - www.verticalcall.com for the rest of the story).
